And also Esbjerg-Bjerringbro. Hope they can avoid postponing the tv match between NFH and KBH.

Wonder when esbjerg is gonna play this game. Hopefully they can get a ChL top2 and play it when the ChL playoff games are on

Why can Silkeborg-Ajax be postponed without consequences but not Esbjerg-Bjerringbro?

They are likely not in agreement about cancelling the game like Ajax and Silkeborg are

No I thought that might be the case, but it says both clubs are working together trying to find a new date.

I think they should just agree that Bjerringbro lose, but that they dont have to pay anything. They are gonna lose anyway

Maybe they will, but that doesn't seem entirely fair. DHF needs to step in here imo. It's also a matter of principles. What if it had been Odense or Ikast?

Well when the local government warns people to stay at home, then it must be excusable. When else?

I get that Esbjerg has a really tight schedule, but if they can't find another date, then they also can't count on other clubs being willing to find one for them.

No as I understand it it was Aarhus (Østjylland) where 8 of the players live.

Gonna be interesting to see if it matters where the players live. if it doesn't matter and that it's just a case of how the weather is in Bjerringbro and on the way towards Esbjerg, then the fact that Ikast apparently can drive to Ringkøbing is not gonna help their case.

Well it should matter since they can’t even get to their own court. What if it was NFH? All of their players live in KBH so counting from Nykøbing F would be a joke.

idk, there are many interesting questions that need to be answered here, like how many of players need to live in aarhus for it to be valid? 1, 2 or 5? And couldn't Bjerringbro just have brought in 5 u19 players to play the match? I clearly remember Esbjerg being told to just bring in u19 players to play pointless cup games, why shouldn't Bjerringbro do the same here? And Ikast can apparently drive to Ringkøbing, what does that mean in terms of the decision that has to be made here. But I suspect that Danskhåndbold do not wanna touch this, so they will just decide that it was valid and then hope that is the end of it

edit: I mean clearly 8 is valid, but it's more a rhetorical question that needs an answer before a similar situation arises in the future, which it will

But I don't know what the solution to this kind of problems could be. Cos I also don't think it's fair that the big teams should be forced to play 3 games in 7 days. it's easy for silkeborg and ajax to find another day to play, not so for Ikast, Esbjerg and Odense. Maybe a mandatory one week break at the end of the regular season where games like these, if there are any, can be scheduled?

Luckily Nykøbing - Copenhagen wasn't postponed, and we got an entertaining game, great atmosphere, exciting dj and lovely Kielstrup.

The Esbjerg-Bjerringbro game is scheduled to be played on the 1. march. which is weird cos that is during the NT break

but it does appear on that date on the federation webpage, though no time of throw-off for the game yet. I don't really see how this should be possible. It's likely just that the match scheduling system requires a new date to be entered when you cancel a game

Disciplinary decision following the NFH-Esbjerg game
https://cms.dhf.dk/media/1x4k335y/591386-nfh-afg%C3%B8relse-170124.pdf

Edit: sorry didn't think about the fact that the link is all in Danish. In short the disciplinary decision is that NFH is fined 7500dkk + the administrative cost of the discplinary proceeding(about 4000dkk) because three of the club's boardmembers several times verbally abused the refs to such a degree that it was reported

Well you don't go and help the enemy on Lolland-Falster without hearing something for it bom

At least noone threw something on court.
