Haha, thought so. Do you think it is likely?

So I have no knowledge as to why she hasn't really played in Ikast. It seems weird. I actually think it's possible, likely might be too certain. She will fit right in but her wages will be an issue. I hope they can make it happen!

Perhaps it's just that Ikast's coach prefers to play with the same players?

Yeah the wages could be an issue unless she's really eager to live in Aarhus again.

That might be the case, yeah. I will not allow myself to get my hopes up, been hurt before by wanting Uno back in Aarhus but this certainly seems like the most likely time for it to happen. Her, Neesgaard and Wierzba would be a very exciting backcourt

I haven't watched the danish league until this month, so I have questions about two players for our Danish experts:

Maria Holm from Horsens. Against Viborg she was brilliant and I thought she is a star, then against Copenhagen she was bad just like her whole team. What do you think about her?

Marie-Hélène Sajka from Nykøbing. I follow her since she was a young promising player in Metz, and I always thought she has big potential, but it seems she doesn't fulfill it. How is she doing in Nykøbing? In the three games I watched, she was quite mediocre.

I was surprised how good Holm was against Viborg as well, can’t recall hearing of her before. But Lærke Møller (who commented the match against Copenhagen) said before the match that Holm is a talented but fairly young player so we should expect her to have good and less good matches.

My impression of Sajkas season is that it took her a while to get used to the team and everything else (as expected). Then she had some matches where she was really good and it looked like she was good on the way to find herself again. Lately she may have dropped a bit in level but it seems the same for all of the Nykøbing team.

I also don't have access to "tv2 play", so I can't record the games that are broadcasted only there (Like Esbjerg - Viborg yesterday). I have been practicing for months But it may also be related to a faster internet and smaller files (I don't know why they are smaller now, but I  won't complain). I do complain about tv2 selection of games though, too many easy games of top teams.

isn't just the case that the distance between the best teams and the second best is getting wider. especially now where the best teams are slowly trying to move towards peak performance

Yes, these gaps are a problem in most leagues. This is why I prefer to watch sometimes games between average teams than those games where the winner is known in advance. TV2 don't always agree with me... but they know better than me which games have more rating, and they do broadcast sometimes more equal games.

In other words, let me watch Horsens and Aarhus all day long and I'd be a happy man. A strange man maybe, but happy.
