CSM Târgu Jiu reunion, I thought it was Putin! Simone Böhme signed with them. To understand how strong the Romanian league is, she plays in our 10th place. Top Danish are willing to sign there and we can afford them.

Romanian leaguelooks like hungarian a couple years ago. Full of foreigners that (most of them) are not that good,but can make a lot of money. Good luck to you anyway.

In Romania all foreigners are regulated as national team players, with some caps, and sometimes with medals/trophies. Maybe you are not aware of what kind of players play in Romania.

And the league was expanded to 14 clubs. Foreigners also helped Gyor win Champions League trophies.

Once most of them played in our league.
I still say to play only in the nat.champ they are waste of money.
On international level they are necessery because with romanians only, you will never win CL or or EHF cup (whatever it is called now)

The quality of local players is not negatively influenced by the top foreigners. There are other causes. Foreigners actually bring competitiveness, on a sporting and financial level (in Romania, the quality of private sponsors has increased a lot, and here it works more capitalist, as an image thing; not fiscal facilities, therefore their quality is given by the financial strength of the country and the quality of the league).  

In Hungary at the bottom, there were more modest foreigners. Who made the Hungarian girls to be dominated by them? Although in the end, if the goalscorer of Serbian championship comes to relegation, it is normal for her to be the star of the team. I think you overestimate the practice of sports in Romania and Hungary. We no longer live in communism and our societies are still not fully developed.

And who decides that it is "waste of money", the entertainment? We live in a free world, market, if tomorrow they want another model, they can choose it.

If the recipe is good, it works, but a league without top foreigners usually has no value. Only if you have international results. If you have dozens of Reistads, the championship is probably attractive, but things have changed a lot in sports and handball. The model with foreigners is superior. And nothing convinces me that they would be modest in Romania, at the moment the Romanian championship has valuable foreigners.

Rapid has fired Rasmussen

After the first 3 rounds, Rapid occupies only 8th place in the national championship, six points away from the leader CSM Bucharest. Rapid also lost the Romanian Supercup and the debut in the Champions League.
