Financial reports(DK) 2022/23

We have once again reached the season of financial report and the first one is Horsens.

And as it is custom their report reads like a horror novel. A deficit of roughly 4.9 million dkk(657k euro)

Ringkøbing Håndbold have also posted their report, a deficit of 352k Dkk

Not a great result by any stretch of the imagination, but no disaster either

So after 4 years of deficit, Nfh managed to make a profit of 106.000 Dkk in the past fiscal year.

The financial report of Viborg hk is now also public. A profit of 220k dkk.

However there is the caveat that is only a profit because of an income of 380k under "Andre finansielle indtægter"  that is an income that hasn't been present in the past reports, and in the notes it states that those 380k is debt that has been forgiven. So debt that someone has agreed to not be paid. On top of that there is a quite substantial transfer fee paid to vhk this season of almost 700k. So I think it is safe to say that the days of cost cutting are not over in VHK

Edit: Come to my attention that the manager of Ikast, Daniel Grønhøj, is also the CEO of one of the companies that own the handball club and is paid around 60k a year for it. So it seems that part of his salary is thus paid by that other company and thus doesnt affect the financial report of the handball club.

yeah, it's pretty big deficit, it's equal 61% of their entire wages budget. Last year though it was much much less. I haven't dived into the report yet so I'm not sure what has cause this increase

After several years of turning a profit Sønderjyske Kvindehåndbold recorded a deficit of 324.000dkk

The most notable figures is that they have almost doubled their personnel expenditures to 3.489.518dkk which still puts them at the bottom fourth of the league in that regard.

Now it is only Aarhus United that hasn't published their report, I expect it'll be a bloodbath

Skanderborg and Bjerringbro won't be publishing any reports. Skanderborg never do because they aren't really a business so they are not obliged to do so I guess. And Bjerringbro won't be publishing a report seing as there is nothing to publish as they are in their first fiscal year right now.

Once Aarhus United have published their report I'll post an overview chart that shows, 1)result 2) personnel expenses and 3) Equity for all the clubs where that info is available.

Aarhus United has finally posted their report. A profit of 761.255 kroner. On the surface an excellent result. Sadly you don't have to scratch much in the surface before the rotten core is exposed. the profit is a result of forgiven debt of 2 593 000dkk

What is even more troubling is that they have negative equity of 1.5mill dkk and that they have to get new fresh investments if the club is to survive. They are currently in negotiation with possible new investors but no agreements have been signed as of yet

Here is the overview chart of all the teams in the league that have to post their financial reports for 2022/23 financial year(the financial year is from June 2022 to June 2023)
As stated earlier skanderborg never publishes a financial report and Bjerringbro are in their first financial year, so there is nothing to post yet.



with these figures we can get an idea what the average expenses for salaries across the clubs are, which is 7 310 368 Dkk, which translates into roughly 981 000Eur

No problem. I find this stuff interesting so I thought others might as well. And if not, people can just ignore it
