România va organiza Euro 2026 pentru fete la nivel de seniori!

EHF will choose 6 venues from 8 proposals. The letter of guarantee from the Government of Romania is awaited. Romania applied only with Spain, which withdrew. Euro 2026 should have been hosted by Russia.

2022, 2024 and 2028 will be hosted by 3 countries each. 2026 only by Romania. It is good that Hungary changed its mind and will host 2024 together with 2 other countries. Because Romania can organise the tournament alone.

Bistrița and Turda are very small cities, they are actually towns. But they will probably host games, being in the Cluj region.

Centre-South:

New arena. Or the current one will be refurbished. The capital has built 4 new stadiums, the 5th one is under construction. Football and swimming before.

Mioveni is nothing special, it is the headquarters of Dacia Automobile. A small town near Pitești.

We had way better options, Brașov (10K under construction) which I don't know why it was excluded, or in Dobrogea or even the Eastern province. It's like the EHF only want two regions. Near Bucharest and Cluj Napoca.

Hopefully we (Hun) are going to be in the Oradea group, based on geography and popularity of the national team.

For sure Cluj Napoca, Oradea and Pitești can't lose the organisation. We will also see what will be the other 3 out of 5 remaining places.

It annoys me that it can't be all perfect, but I guess it's the EHF requirements. That is, in the countries where it is possible. Brașov should have been here, the new 10k-seater will be absolutely stunning. And the combo from Dobrogea, Constanța-Tulcea, would have been reliable. Both 5000 and new. Let's say that not in Moldavia (Eastern Romania).

24 teams here. Maybe they are thinking of Sfântu Gheorghe (Sepsiszentgyörgy) for Hungary, in the Szekely Land. But if Hungary will not qualify for the second phase, Cluj or Oradea?

I dont think that you need arenas over 5k, if the host team is not included in the match.
There are hundreds of supporters not thousands from abroad.
