Housheer was kinda expected, but Van Wetering surprises me a bit

Seems that Gyor simply decided to buy all the players in the world, so other teams will have no players left and Gyor will finally win the CL again.

I hope Dutchfan doesn't get upset, but in my opinion the Netherlands are in a sort of decrease. And Gyor seem not to be able anymore to buy whole Scandinavia.

Hungarians buy by the kilo, it is impossible to succeed with purchases of overvalued players. Oftedal is also retiring.

I agree with you. With Polman in and out of injury, the loss of broch, snelder and groot, unfortunately the Netherlands isn't a top 4 team at the moment

They are young and have potential, but they may not win you the trophy. Gyor doesn't seem to have a strategy, and most of their tranfers are accidental.

They saw that it didn't work out for them with the French. Let's sign 3 top pivots instead of Foppa or others. 50 goalkeepers...

This bad management has been going on for many, many years, for a reason Gyor was lucky to win 3 trophies in a row and 2 were in extra time against Vardar.

Plus many injuries and maybe some quit. Oftedal has played alone lately, now Gros will probably start to do so…

But remember how poor some CL editions were in the 2000s and 1990s! Without opposition, it's not that hard.

If Gyor does not win this season, it will be a big failure. Oftedal will do everything, Gros is there, the goalkeepers and pivots are good enough and with the bench secured. It's all about rhythm at the end (finals).
